In this current era of marauding illusions of white supremacy, now is absolutely the time to summon aglow each our collective freedoms, into blazing illuminations of fascist-defying action, collectively shining each of our lives for as far as our souls can see.
Now that the expressing of so many of our freedoms is rapidly becoming a fugitive aspect of our humanity, I am deeply called to broadly voice the intrinsic magnitude of our omnipotent fabulousness! Composed specially for this tour, I will be premiering The Fabulous Fugitive Freedom Suite, a fiery incantation of multi-reed compositions on clarinet, along with a full conjuring of liberties from my recent collection of poems, Mountain Spells {Rootstock Publishing, 2024}.
I am sooooo very excited to pack my wild collection of charms, poems, horns, typewriters, coats, dog & dreams in a well-blessed van, and hit the road, heading to all points west! Crossing the country from coast to coast, touring a diverse myriad of communities, this tour culminates in Victoria, BC, on the lush spell-cast northern Pacific sanctuary of Vancouver Island, where I’ll be featured in the Planet Earth Poetry Series, the longest running poetry series in Victoria. The Grand kick-off of this tour begins in high fashion, on Sunday November 2nd, at 4pm, at the Phoenix Music Hall, 5 Stowe Street! Fiery attire appreciated! I’m still booking shows!
